# Dictionary of Terms

The key to the **Adizes Methodology** is the many terms and concepts that, while commonplace, have specific meanings and distinctions within the context of the methodology. Defining these various terms and concepts to ensure that everyone within your organization understands these distinctions and can speak the same managerial “language” is the first step in achieving exceptional sustainable success.
