# (EI) Structure

Elements in an organization focused on complex problem solving and the organization’s long-term development.

The (EI) structure achieves these objectives through POCs and [Synerteams](/adizes/wiki/synerteam.md) that facilitate bottom-up communication as opposed to the top-down communication of the typical (PA) structure.

Also known as SEIS.
