# Chain of Causality

The relationship between causes and effects. In an organization, external events and cultural, structural, and procedural root causes result in symptoms of breakdown in the ability to interface with clients, provide products and services, deal with human resources, or deal with cash. These systemic breakdowns, visible as symptoms, result in behavioral manifestations and loss of efficiency and effectiveness.
