# Executive Committee

A group of people who assist the Board of Directors or the CEO in discharging their responsibilities for the management of the business on a daily basis (the (PA) side).

The counterpart to the executive committee on the (EI) side of the organization is the corporate [Participative Organizational Council (“POC”)](/adizes/wiki/participative-organizational-council-poc.md).
