# Take (a decision)

A step in the [8-step decision-making process](/adizes/wiki/8-step-decision-making-process.md) used in Synerteams in which the [Implementor](/adizes/wiki/implementor.md) finalizes the decision being made. 

Taking a decision is differentiated from [making a decision](/adizes/wiki/make-a-decision.md) (which is done by the full Synerteam), and [accepting a decision](/adizes/wiki/accept-a-decision.md) (also done by the team, but only after the [Implementor](/adizes/wiki/implementor.md) has taken the decision).
